My Bio
I have always loved art and in the last few years have taken more of an interest in photography. I try to pick up a camera and shoot anything and everything whenever I can. For me it is an extension of my personality :) I'm currently working on a 365 project that I have been doing since January 1, 2011. One picture a day to share with the world! It has been a great experience. In the process of doing this project, I have learned not only how to run a camera, but also it has gotten me out to see places I never would have gone before. I look forward to each new day and finding something new to photograph.

My New Love...My Nikon

Saturday I finally received my new Nikon! I am so excited to finally have a camera that I have wanted for a really long time. Up until now, I have been using my daughter's Nikon D40 and I had pretty much mastered it as far as I could. It was time for a new challenge and a camera that I could use well in lower light settings. So now I'm opening a new chapter to my photography hobby and hoping that I will enjoy learning this new camera as much as I did the other one :) I can't wait to get out and see what this bad boy is made of :)
